- met with band, discussed their desires, realistic possibilities, and what we wanted to produce
- got permission, and they're really open to anything. yay!
- chose song and how the show should progress.

- hone in desired theme/style/message
- set up schedule
- rough brainstorming sketches
- develop pitch pdf
WEEK 08

- go see band live to get feeling for how they perform (SATURDAY NIGHT!)
- CONCRETE IDEAS ON:
.. elements to loop
.. relationship story we want to tell
.. how to link that story to the pacing of the song
- initial set of style frames
- test animations of select looping patterns
WEEK 09

- finalized set of styleframes for majority of elements laid out
- test layering looped elements in with each other
- test projecting it
- more tests of loop animations, some of them should be real though
WEEK 10

- continue creating final loop animations
- start working on final compositing/overlays/transitions for the elements interacting
- start to build an initial really rough cut, see how it flows
WEEK 11
-------------
- rehearse rough cut with band to see how live performance changes things
- adapt from there
- keep building elements/compositing!
- start building rough cut v2, most likely with drastically different feel/flow based on live performance
WEEK 12

- finalize out rough cut
- have majority of elements rendered/designed/animated
- serious compositing and overlaying done
- rough cut v2 done
WEEK 13

- rehearse rough cut v2 with band, hopefully it works a lot better
- polish, more animation, etc
WEEK 14

- DONE!
- lets play it live at a show asap
